The newly appointed General Secretary of the Congress Party and the Member of Congress Working Committee Harish Rawat today castigated prime minister Narendra Modi and his party for the increasing incidents of mob violence and lynchings in various parts of the country and also accused the BJP led NDA government at the centre for demolishing the constitutional and the democratic norms by crushing free speech and creating hatred nationally.

The former chief minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat was today addressing the state Congress Party delegates, leaders, office bearers and workers at Dehradun after being elevated to the two plum positions in the party. The state Congress Party observer appointed by the AICC Anugraha Narayan Singh is also in Dehhradun to strengthen and revitalise the Congress Party.

In his eloquent address he appealed to the media not to get swayed away by the BJP leaders ‘histrionics and opportunistic policies in order to favour them as its they also who are being harrassed and victimised alongwith the downrtroddens and the poor of the country. While extending his heartiest gratitude towards Rahul Gandhi for having been elevated as the party’s general secretary n member CWC Harish Rawat lauded his leader for his outstanding and exemplary performance in parliament on the ocassion of the tabling of no confidence motion and said that his oratorical skills and an ambivalent gesture to embrace the prime minister has send postive vibes and signals all over the country making people aware that while the Congress believes in harmony, amity and brotherhood its the BJP and RSS whose sole and only aim is to divide the nation in the name of religion, reaction and fascist tendencies.

He emphatically said that the way Congress president Rahul Gandhi has outstandingly performed in parliament on the day of the no confidence motion no other leader in the parliamentary history has done so till now. Urging the entire non BJP opposition parties of the country to unite credibly against the BJP led NDA Rawat said that if this unity fructifies earnestly under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership there is no reason why this united conglomeration of the anti BJP forces will not replace the NDA rule at the centre.

There were pro Rahul Gandhi and Harish Rawat slogans being raised in between his speech amid cheers and applause. Highly enthused on being given a tumulltuous reception after he reached Dehradun for the first time after having been elevated politically Harish Rawat branded prime minister Narendra Modi as the pack of lies saying that it is not he but the television news channels are telling so.

Appreciating and lauding his government achievements while he was the chief minister of Uttarakhand and trying to undermine the performance of Modi while he was the Gujarat CM, Harish Rawat said that when the Bhuj earthquake occured it took the then CM Narendra Modi to rehabilitate the catastrophic victims and reconstruct Bhuj full seven years whereas during his tenor as UK CM his government reconstructed Kedarnath in just two years with hi tech innovations n rehabilitated the catastrophic victims as well. The programme was organised by the Uttarakhand Congress Committee in honour of AICC general secretary Harish Rawat.

It may be recalled that after the Congress party’s defeat at the hustings and Rawat himself losing from two assembly segments the new state Congress president Pritam Singh who was minister in the former’s cabinet started isolating Rawat n his followers from the state organisation. But after the elevation of Rawat to such an important party designations by Rahul Gandhi things changed overnight and now he acknowledged a rousing reception at Dehradun by the state Congress. Though Harish Rawat is the General Secretary of AICC incharge of Assam Congress affairs his interest and passion are still intact in Uttarakhand politics as he still wants to be the next state CM for the second time say political observers. Being primarily from Uttarakhand having given his energy, time and sweat to revitalise Congress party in Uttarakhand having infinite number of followers Rawat says that he could never give up being associated and active in the Uttarakhand politics as his heart and passion primarily lies in the land of abode of Gods.

The more he criticises bjp n rss higher the post in Congress. He knows the trick. Unfortunately he is not going to be ever choosen again as CM of UK. The Congress have crossed all limits of labling Hindus as terrorists and Devbhoomi will never choose such a political aspirant. GAME OVER FOR HARISH RAWAT.
