SALUTES TO OUR VALIANT, PATROTIC ARMY MEN WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES IN GUREZ SECTOR FIGHTING TERRORISTS

India is today again proud of our four valiant, patriotic and dedicated Army troopers who laid down their precious lives while exhibiting their valour relentlessly fighting the Pak sponsered terrorists in Jammu Kashmir’s strife torn Gurez sector after killing two hard core terrorists. According the Army sources the attempt of the militants to sneak into the India territory have been made unsuccesful after two hard core militants had been killed.

As per the reports pouring in about eight militants tried to clandestinely sneak in the India territory of the Gurez sector about 125 kilometres away from Srinagar which is usually at peace. After the incessant exchange of fire in the border area for several hours near LOC about five extremists were killed in all. One major and three armymen have been martyred during the exchange of fire.

The martyred major KV Rane and the three jawans belonged to 36 Rifles Rifles. Among the martyred soldiers is Rifleman Manjeet Singh Rawat of 12 Garhwal Rifles belonging to Kotdwar Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Mandeep Rawat was the student of PG college of Kotdwar.

The another young martyr in this operation in Gurez sector was Hamir Singh Pokhriyal of Lamgaon village in Tehri Garhwal. He was currently the resident of Rishikesh, Shyampur, Gumaniwala.

Martyr Hamir Singh Pokhriyal was also the Rifleman. Both of them were young and valiant soldiers having martyred themselves for the nation fighting the terrorists in Gurez sector valiantly.

The entire country and Uttarakhand deeply mourns the death of these martyrs in the line of action while fighting the Indian enemies and urges upon the government to teach Pakistan a strong and befitting lesson for these repeated misadventures.

We should’nt forget that our hundreds of thousands of valiant patriotic soldiers have so far been martyred while fighting these terrorists, hell bent upon challenging us and trying divide the nation through their destructive activities. We salute our brave and valiant soldiers for their unwavering loyalty for our motherland and pledge to stand with them and their traumatic families at these most critical moments. Jai Hind.
