Peanuts: Simply roast them and spice them with chaat masala and lemon. These crunchy munchies perfectly go with all mood desires. From local vendors to supermarket, you will find it everywhere.
Cashew Nuts: Nuts are iconic chakhna for all kinds of drinks. Fried, roasted and mixed with other spices – Indians simply love to have this as chakhna along with their drinks.
French Fries & Potato Chips: Chips are the pocket-friendly snack and a universal favorite munch. These crunchy and crispy bites are available in a wide range; goes well with a host of beverages.
Masala Papad: The extremely cheap and amazingly mouth watering snack masala papad. Overloaded with chopped tomatoes, onions and coriander, these spicy chakhna is a great combo with all beverages.
Nachos/Crispy Corn: Nachos and cheesy dips, of course a Mexican snack but it has become a healthy snack for most of the vegetarian Indians. Crispy corn another spicy Indian chakhna, corn fried and prepared with typical Chinese style but still believed to be a desi one.

Tandoori Chicken/Chicken wings: Tandoori Chicken, given a chance, it should be declared as the national chakhna for Indians. Along with onion rings, lemon and mint chutney—Ahh!! what else you need on earth!!! Similarly, Chicken wings –tender saucy chicken bites with mixed taste of tangy and sweet, ready to tease your taste buds.
Fish Fry/Fish Fingers: The common snack in coastal belt. Best goes with whiskey and also good with beer. Fish fries are as great as chicken chakhnas. Another great chakhna made from fish is fish finger. Crispy from outside and tender from inside along with mayonnaise dip, fish fingers are the best choice for non spicy booze buddies.
Paneer Tikka: A Vegetarian’s Tandoori chicken ;). A platter of paneer tikka is so good, that even pure non-vegetarians find it tough to resist. Paneer tikka along with onions and mint chutney as a chakhna gives you a really boozilious aura.
