SDMC dedicates park in the name of Rajesh Khanna! Singing tributes to superstar of the millenium on 26th December in New Delhi
The South Delhi Municipal Corporation has dedicated a beautiful park in Lajpat Nagar v in the name of the former New Delhi member of parliament and the first and original Super Star of the the millenium Rajesh Khanna on 15th of December on the ocassion of Kaka’s 76th birth anniversary which falls on 29th December.
The legendary silver screen star late Rajesh Khanna’s actor wife Dimple Kapadia flew in from Mumbai to inaugurate the magnificient park at Lajpat Nagar, South Delhi as the chief guest in the presence of the former union minister n the current Delhi State Congress chief Ajay Maken, Councillor Abhishekh Dutt, Kaka’s friend n well wisher Naresh Juneja, Vipin Oberoi, his former media advisor n journalist Sunil Negi n hundreds of the local residents and the late superstar’s die hard fans.
The South Delhi municipal Corporation built a statue of the super star of yester years n former MP in the magnificient park at Lajpat Nagar 4 and dedicated it to the people amid chanting of Rajesh Khanna Amar Rahe slogans hailing the legendary actor.
On twenty six of December the Uttarakhand Journalists Forum and the musical company Harmony is jointly organising a musical evening at India Islamic Centre in honour of the great actor n super star Rajesh Khanna to commemorate his 76th Birth anniversary.
The venue is India Islamic Culture Centre and the event will start at 4.45 PM. The fascinating n mesmerising event has been jointly conceived by Kakaji’s former Media advisor n journalist Sunil Negi and the director of Harmony Ramesh Nautiyal under the sponsership of the prestigious Future Choice group, Noida and Elite Elevators and Excavators.
The chief guest of the programme is the CMD future choice group Piyush Dwivedi and the guest of honours are Rakesh Dhasmana and SS Negi.
About 25 prominent n upcoming singers from all over the country will sing the melodious Kaka’s super duper hit songs of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. People come n go but legendary icons like Rajesh Khanna aka KAKA are always immortal.
