Mirage 2000 jet fighter crash claims lives of two pilot’s in Bengaluru, Sidharth Negi n Sameer Abrol
My heartfelt condolenses to the bereaved families of both the squadron leaders Sidharth Negi and Sameer Abrol who met their tragic end today morning at 10.30 AM at Bengalore when the Hindustan Aeronautics upgraded fighter plane Mirage 2000 crashed soon after taking off on a test flight killing both the pilots after the take off.
There have been ten fatal crashes of Mirage fighter jets in the past too which raise doubts about the professional credibility and technical competence of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.
Squadron leader Sidhartha Negi belonged to Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun n his family lived in Panditvada locality. Sidharth was mariied just one and a half year ago.
His father is the administrative head in the Doon Graphic Era University, Dehradun. The family of deceased Negi n his near and dear ones’ are in the state of shock having lost a young son who was married just a year n a half ago.
According to the sources the Mirage 2000 fighter jet was undergoing its acceptance trial by the Indian Air Force having been upgraded by HAL when both the pilots ejected and one pilot crash landed in the burning wreckage.
While Squadron leader Sidharth Negi died in the plane’s burning wreckage Abrol died in the hospital.
According to the newspouring in the plane went into a burning mode soon after the take off n crashed against the boundary wall of the airport in Bengaluru with the plane hurriedly coming down in the form of a burning wreckage killing one on the spot n another in the hospital due to being critically injured in burns.

May his soul rest in peace. Very sad that these young Pilots have passed away at such an early age. No point in using outdated fighter planes
