The Supreme court of India is likely to resume hearing on the Ram Temple issue from Monday onwards and a new 3 judge bench has also been constituted under the chief justice of India.

The three judge bench likely to hear the case of the Ram Mandir construction at the dispute site in Ayodhya would consist of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and justices S. K. Kaul and K. M. Joseph, earlier the chief justice of Uttarakhand High Court.

The hearing to be started from Monday on this most controvertial issue involving the various Hindu organisations and the All India Muslim Personal Law board etc having their respective stakes, may take a long time but the ruling political dispensations at the centre and the largest state of Uttar Pradesh seems to be in much hurry as the general election of 2019 is just 9 months ahead.

After the former chief justice of the Supreme Court Deepak Mishra headed bench’s verdict that the question of Mosque is not integral to Islam, the hopes and aspirations of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, the RSS and the BJP are on the flight, thinking that the court’s viewpoint has given a positive go through for the future verdict coming in its favour for the construction of Ram Temple and have appreciated and lauded it whole heartedly whereas the minority community representing the case, especially the All India Muslim Personel Law Board has serious reservations on the honourable court’s such a viewpoint saying that they may go for the review petition in case justice is not meted out to them.

The Uttar Pradesh Chief minister Yogi Aditya Nath has requested the Supreme court in his comments while answering to the queries of contruction of Ram temple in Ayodhya today that the apex court should finalise the matter at the earliest as it has given the verdict in the Sabrimala issue. He was extremely confident that the temole wouldbe constructed at Ayodhya, come what may

Just a few days ago the fountain head of the Bhartiya Janata Party, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat while addressing the swayam sewaks in Nagpur on Vijaydashmi day has said that the issue of Ram Temple is being unnecessarily dragged on and on for the last many years by political parties and could have been resolved quite before, had politics not peeped into it.

He catagorically said that had there been no politics in this matter it would have been resolved through coordination and concensus. Now the matter is in the court. We will wait for the court’s decision. But it will take a long time. Construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya is mandatory and it will be built there but with the government’s support and the government should bring an ordinance on this issue at the earliest.

It should built the temple by bringing a law on it he added. His speech was more an instruction to the government than the advice.

This statement of the RSS chief is a clear indication that unless the government brings the legislation on the issue, dependency on court would not make the construction of Ram Temple possible.

Since 1992 after the demolition of the Babri mosque in Ayodhya that led to roits at the pan India level allegedly killing several hundred innocents of all communities including the hindus and minorities, the BJP had been incorporating the demand for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodya’s disputed site claiming it the place of God Ram’s birth.

Since then the matter has been embroiled in court cases. After 1992, demolitiin of the Babri Mosque, the BJP has come to power, four times, thrice under the late prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for 13 days, a year and 5 years and now under the prime ministership of Narendra Modi since 2014.

The vexed issue of Ram Temple is still to square one. The Bhartiya Janata Party is still trying to cash on it, in the next election of 2019 to polarise the majority community votes say the political analysts.

The issue of Ram Temple if not settled before the 2019 elections may cross the saturation point of political exploitation and can even affect the saffron party adversely say analysts, as 26 years down the line after the demolition of Babri Mosque is not a small period for repeatedly using and exploiting this religious issue.

Afterall the people of the country particularly the younger generation which has become hi tech and digital has changed its bent of mind focussing itself on development, employment, career making, comfortable living and scientific development, least bothered to vote on such primitive thinking of religiosity n orthodox considerations. What’s your take friends?
