Taiwan-Based Artist Philanthropist Lihquan Lee Donates 6 Oxygen Concentrators to VS Hospitals – Covid Care Center, Chennai

VS Hospitals has received Six Oxygen Concentrators from the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan. These six Oxygen Concentrators were sent as part of Lihquan Lee’s charity project for raising funds. Prof. Dr. S. Sundar, Sr. Consultant Joint Replacement & Tumour Surgeon and Medical Director, VS Group of Hospitals, and Mr. Muthu Subramanian, Executive Director, VS Group of Hospitals received these concentrators at VS Hospitals CovidCare Center at Chennai.

The oxygen concentrators are currently used for Corona Patients who require oxygen support due to COVID19 infection.

Ms. Lihquan Lee, Artist, Taiwan said,” We are organizing a charity project supported by TEMA, CSR, Corp, and India organizations for raising fund “Taiwan Can Help -Collaborative Hope and Love Project”.As a part of this initiative, we have donated six Oxygen Concentrators to VS Hospitals, Chennai.”

Taiwan-based Artist Philanthropist Lihquan Lee has sold her seven paintings to raise funds for Oxygen Concentrators. Lihquan Lee raised 713,000 New Taiwan Dollars to help Covid Patients in India.

Lee told during a webinar that this will help the needy in India and also highlighted the technology prowess Taiwan has in manufacturing oxygen concentrators.

Speaking on the donation, Prof.Dr.S. Subramanian – Founder Chairman, VS Group of Hospitals said, “Thanks for the love from Taiwan. We have received six oxygen concentrators from Lihquan Lee as a sign of goodwill to help battle the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“Ideal oxygen levels should be between 95-99 per cent. Oxygen concentrator compresses oxygen from other gases by sucking in atmospheric air and dispenses it through a cannula to the patient. The oxygen concentrators are used for mild to moderate care for patients in-home care and hospital care with saturation level between 90 – 94 percent”, Dr. Subramanian added.
