The new instrument console will also be available with the Tigor facelift. The Tiago facelift will also receive a BS-Vi compliant engine and additional safety features.
Tata Motors is working on a facelift for its popular hatchback, the Tiago. According to a new image leaked online, the Tiago facelift will receive an all-new fully digital instrument cluster. The same unit is also expected to be offered on the Tigor facelift.
As seen in the leaked image, the Tata Tiago facelift receives a new digital instrument console with a digital speedometer positioned in the center of the screen. This center display also houses the tell-tale lights, odometer, and instant fuel efficiency gauge. The left and right side of the console features the tachometer and the fuel gauge respectively. Also seen on the top right corner of the instrument cluster is the engine temperature gauge.
Apart from the new instrument cluster, the Tata Tiago facelift will also feature updated exteriors and new safety features in view of the upcoming safety norms. The model will be powered by a BS-VI compliant version of the 1.2-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine. Transmission options will include a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit. The Tata Tiago facelift is expected to be launched by October 2019.
