The Most Bizarre World Records

The world is full of things both awe-inspiring and downright weird. I mean, humans themselves can be pretty surprising at any given time, which can go both ways- either awe-inspiring or weird. But there are also times, when we can be a mix of both… somewhere in the realm of bizarre. So here we are with a list of most bizarre world records ever set! For nothing can be predicted when it comes trying to be a record-holder- it brings with itself a sense of accomplishment and… something to brag about. Making one motivated to really try everything. And try everything they did –

• Most toothpicks in a beard

How do you even do that? But US citizen Joel Strasser did exactly that in July 2018, when he spent over three hours to put some 3,500 toothpicks in his beard.

• Most tricks performed by a pig in one minute

We said humans, but teaching your pig tricks so that it could be world record holder is truly something only a human can commit to. I mean look at Dawn Bleeker who trained her pig Joy so that she can perform up to 13 tricks in a minute. Can’t imagine how much effort that must have taken. Anyways, Joy did set the world record in January, 2018, thus making sure all that hard work doesn’t go in vain.

• Most tattooed man

Lucky Diamond Rich of Australian set the world record of the Most Tattooed man thanks to the 1000+ hours he spent under the needle.

• Stretchiest skin

Garry Turner of the UK set the record for the stretchiest skin due to his rare medical condition. He can stretch the skin of his stomach to 6.25 inches as a result of suffering from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective-tissue disorder where the collagen becomes defective which leads to loosening of the skin.

• Most piercings in a lifetime

Elaine Davidson of Brazil holds the record for most piercings in a lifetime and that on a woman. Over 6,000 piercings all over her body helped her achieve the record, which was constantly updated throughout the years since year 2000.

• Tallest hat

American Odilon Ozare had to walk over 10 meters while wearing a 15 feet, 9 inches tall hat for him to set this record in April 2018.

• Longest fingernails ever on a woman

Lee Redmond of the USA had to grow out her nails for nearly 30 years before they reached a length of 28 feet, 4.5 inches in February 2008- enough for her to set a world record of her own.

• Largest collection of Transformers memorabilia

How many transformers figurines are enough figurines? We couldn’t figure but Louis Georgiou of the UK did set a record through his collection of 2,111 items in May 2017.

• Longest moustache

India’s Ram Singh Chauhan set the world record of having the longest moustache in March 2010, when it was measured to be 14 feet long! That was then… a 2017 report states his moustache has gotten longer and at 18.5 foot is still the longest moustache in the world.

• Fastest time to eat a bowl of pasta

It took Michelle Lesco of the US a record 26.69 seconds to finish her bowl of pasta and make history in September 2017. Wow… that must’ve taken quite a bit of practice.

• Most Guinness World Records

And of course how can we forget the man who holds the record for Most Guinness World Records! 65 year old American Ashrita Furman has set more than 600 official records since his first world record in 1979. Currently, he holds 226 world records- a truly awe-inspiring feat, ain’t it?
