Twinkle, Akshay n Super Star Kaka’s fan celebrate his 76th birthday in Delhi, Mumbai n Meerut on 29th December

An actor par excellence, unparalleled and the first and original superstar of Bollywood Rajesh Khanna’s aka Kaka’s 76th Birthday was celebrated in Delhi, Mumbai and NCR with gaiety and fervour today i.e. 29th December, with his die hard fans cutting cakes, organising mesmerising mysical evenings, arranging parties n langars for the hapless n poor and organising social events remembering him in order pay their best tributes.

Rajesh Khanna aka Kaka’s aura as a Super Star was enormous and infinite and can be gauged from the fact that even after his physically departing from this world six years ago from now in 2012, his fans n followers around the country, even abroad, remember him earnestly n graciously on his birth n death anniversaries every year.

The entire social media site especially the face book, instagram n whatsapp are full of posts, pictures and messages wishing the super star happy birthday further sharing them to their friends n well wishers.

Even Kaka’s daughter Twinkle Khanna n renowned actor Akshay Kumar, the former’s son in law have celebrated their father’s birthday in Mumbai with fanfare as Twinkle’s birthday too falls on 29th December coinciding with that of her super star father Rajesh Khanna.

As per the news flashed by TV 18 – as a kid, Twinkle Khanna used to think : the truckloads of flowers received by her father Rajesh Khanna on his birthday were actually for her ! Why ? Because the father and daughter share the same birthday – December 29.

And we do believe that when she says truckloads, she is not exaggerating. Rajesh Khanna was the first superstar of Bollywood, after all.

Very few actors have had the good fortune of enjoying the amount of adulation he did.

In a tweet posted in his twitter handle Akhay Kumar tweeted, posting the black and white picture of campaigning in New Delhi while Khanna was contesting as Congress candidate with Twinkle and Dimple Khanna : While growing up I heard the fascinating tales of his superstardom, never imagining one day I’ll marry his fascinating daughter…. thank you for giving me this precious one , HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH OF YOU.

There have been three significant events in Delhi in the last three days commemorating Rajesh Khanna’s 76th birth anniversary. The Uttarakhand Journalist Forum’s president Sunil Negi and Kaka’s die hard fans Ramesh Nautiyal and Bhagwat Kishore ( both singers) organised back to back two mesmerising musical evenings in New Delhi’s prestigious India Islamic Culture Centre and Mavlankar Hall on 26th December and 29th while Kaka’s colleague n die hard fan, rather a family member Vipin Oberoi celebrated the Super star’s birthday at “The Treat” van at Chanakyapuri by serving free lunch to one and all and also cutting a cake amid lots of Kaka’s fans n well wishers.

“The Treat” Van situated at Chanakyapuri near Matreyi college is special because Kaka used to come and dine here while he used to be in Delhi in order to boost the morale of Vipin Oberoi in order to generate his business prospects.

Similarly one of the Kaka’s die hard fan and actor who calls himself as junior Rajesh Khanna, P. K Nahar also celebrated the super star’s birthday in Meerut today with lots of Kaka’s fans n well wishers by organising a musical evening n paying their rich floral tributes.
