A saffron clad chief minister of Uttar Pradesh who was the the most priority chioce of the Sangh Parivar RSS having represented the parliament for five terms in succession, firebrand politicianYogi Aditya Nath is in real trouble today, with newspapers and electronic channels prominently putting the BJP led Uttar Pradesh government in real dock in the recently held two unprovoked encounters – one of the techie of the tech giant APPLE Company in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow and the alleged arbitrary killings of two young muslim men in their twenties in Aligarh posessing no criminal backgrounds.

The way Uttar Pradesh police have exhibited desperation to allegedly kill these youngsters leaving their families in the state of immense trauma, shock and anguish unambiguously speaks of the fact that under the guise of controlling the law and order situation in the largest state of the country the police seems to have gone berserk n extremely irresponsible rather vindictive, who’s not even leaving the innocents making their desperate deadly victims.

While the techie of Tech Giant The Apple has left behind his wife and two children in the state of great financial mess, trauma n anguish, the encounter victims of Aligarh hailing from the lowest ebb of the society in just their twenties have also added to the woes of the already penniless families.

While the shocking wife and family members of Vivek Tiwari has demanded the CBI inquiry into the whole episode she’d also questioned the reason behind being so harsh to kill her husband who could have been caught later on as well, even if he was had wronged .

Who gave the police the authority to fire on the innocent n kill, even if he or she has committed any mistake, wrong doing or a blunder especially when the police do not know the antecedent of a person having no criminal backgrounds like most hard lucked Vivek Tiwary.

She also demanded a compensation of Rs. one crore and a job to the next of the kin in the state government. However the chief minister has assured of full cooperation n a detailed enquiry into the entire episode and if need be institution of the CBI enquiry. The erring police official have been arrested and is behind bars with case of murder registered against him and the announcement for 25 lakh rupees compensation with a job in the state government also pronounced forthwith.

While the Tiwari family had been pacified to some extent by the chief minister’s over assurance for due justice , the alleged murders through police encounter of Mustaquin and Shahid in Aligarh still seems to have been hanged in balance with the badly traumatised families holding a press conference under the banner of Justice Against Hate organisation in Delhi’s Press club of India openly castigating and holding the UP police in Aligarh of murdering the two cladestinely in broad daylight despite their being holding no criminal records except they being a plumber and an artisan.

The sobbing mothers of both the dead in tatters explained to the media as to how they had been picked by the police before 20th September and killed in a fake encounter terming them as hardened criminals. The traumatised mothers of the dead appealed the prime minister to give them security as they feared grave threats to their lives from the lical police who would not like them to seek justice by appearing before the media and expose the arbitrary and illegal designs of the erring police officials involved in the fake encounter of their sons.

It may be recalled that after assuming power the Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has publicly vowed to eliminate criminalism from the state and his move had been appreciated by the people at large. But after the killing spree started in the name of encounter several innocent young man or those with little or negligible criminal records have been killed. There had been several sting operations when the police officials of certain police stations were even allegedly caught on camera fixing deals to eliminate the adversaries of those who were interested to heavily bribe that policeman. After the incessant killings in UP under the guise of fake encounters in some selective cases as being reported in a section of the media, particularly after the recent unprovoked murder of an innocent tech Vivek Tiwari who happened to be from the forward caste Brahmin Community which had been the BJP’S traditional vote bank, the BJP high command as well as the top leaders at RSS headquarter in Nagpur are perturbed over the deteriorating law and order situation in the state bringing bad name tothe party already in political distress on controversies such as rafale, banking frauds and escalation in the prices of petroleum products.

The party is in no mood to take further risks especially when the possibilities of the prepoll unity between the SP, BSP AND LOK DAL is likely to fructify in the near future this making inroads in the entire backward and SC, ST votes of UP which had been in the BJP’S court due to the polarisation in the past state and general elections giving the saffron party over over more than 75 MPs and power in the State dethroning the Samajwadi party. Rumours are afloat of the supposed change in the state leadership if now now, then prior to the general elections.

There have been accusations against the current political dispensation led by Yogi Adityanath that while the encounter killing spree is on in UP the crime rate instead of coming down has allegedly increased by 164 percent. There have been 67 deaths in encounter killings with 700 injuries n some of the wrong deaths. Political parties like SP are especially questioning the BJP government politicising the issue by saying that those killed and injured in majority numbers are from the lower castes and minority sections of the society whereas the fact of the matter is nobody is questioning about the immense shortage of police personels in the state police force with vacancies not having been filled till now leading the deteriorating law and ordersituation going out of control ultimately compelling successive governments to enforce and endorse orders for encounters thus according enough freedom and powers to cops become trigger happy and go on a killing spree.
