The crackdown on the separatists, their subsequent arrests and withdrawal of the security of the Hurriyat Conference leaders in Jammu and Kashmir is undoubtedly a welcome decision of the government but what is most shocking and surprising is the fact that the PDP leader n the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti is the lone politician who is extending the entire solidarity and sympathy for them strongly n outrightly condemning the government action.

Speaking for n on behalf of these proxies of Pakistan who eat n live in India but espouse the cause of Pakistan by allegedly inflamming communal passions in the valley n subsequently encouraging terrorists n terror organisations to act against India openly amounts to encouraging forces inimical to the unity, integrity and soci political stability of the country.

The problem/ imbroglio of Kashmir which is decades old since independence have now taken gigantic proportions with home grown terrorism as well as Pak sponsered militancy crossing all limits of saturation point.

After the most deadliest Pulwama attack of 14th February which martyred 45 soldiers of CRPF the country has witnessed the most serious outrage nationally not even witnessed when years ago 72 valiant jawans of CRPF were slained down by the Naxalites in Daantewaada, in Chattisgarh.

The situation in Kashmir has now reached to such a critical juncture that the countrymen are demanding a massive retaliatory action against Pakistan even worse than the 2016 surgical strike.

While everyone know that war is not the only and comprehensive solution of the impending Kashmir imbroglio as both India and Pakistan are nuclear nations and any war like misadventure may lead to overall destruction in both the countries the consequences of which will be extremely fatal but actions at the diplomatic international level and strong n viable actions in Kashmir valley against the terrorists including against Hurriyat who are their God fathers is inevitably essential n the government of the day in collaboration with the Indian Army n the paramilitary is doing its best to demoralise Pakistan which seems to have been isolated at the international scenerio.

The withdrawal of the most favoured nation status, imposition of 200 percent excise duty, attempt to take US, France, UK, Argentina n Germany into confidence in UN, diversion of water n action against the hurriyat etc are some of the pivotal steps n initiatives India has taken to pressurise Pakistan give up its stand to harbour terrorists n terror sanctuaries in Pakistan.

This has proved successful to some extent as well as fearful Pak was compelled to ban Damait Ul Dava and capture the JEM headquarter in Bhawalpur, Pakistan from where the JEM chief Azhar Masood operates his obnoxious anti India activities. However, despite all this Pakistan could never be relied upon as it’s politics’ basic n primary premise is anti India stance n creating instability in India.

However despite all this if we come back to Kashmir’s domestic politics it was the BJP ruling at the centre who’ve committed the greatest blunder of forming the government with the PDP led by Mufti Mohammed Sayed under whose regime the network of Pak sponsored home grown terrorists grew extensively in Kashmir including the swelling of the numbers of stone pelters raising pro Pakistan slogans. It is alleged that Mrs.

Mufti had been too soft and pro towards the terrorists and their perpetrators as she looked Kashmir from the points of view of begetting muslim n Kashmiri votes than Kashmir being an inalienable part of India. Sources reveal that it was allegedly during her tenure n on her demand that movement of civilians traffic which was banned earlier during the Army convoy movement has been reopened thus resulting in the massive n deadliest fidayeen attack on Pulwama on 14 Feb killing 40 CRPF soldiers.

Today irrespective of politics n the general elections round the corner, the entire country is in a mood to teach Pakistan a befitting lesson and it’s because of this cumulative peoples’ sentiments that the PM n the CCS has accorded Indian Army n paramilitary full freedom to act and retaliate strongly n forcefully against the enemy Pakistan’s misadventures against India.

People are in no mood to hear or tolerate the political blame game. They stand unitedly against Pakistan and the present political dispensation hoping for a strong retaliatory action as was the case in 1999 during the Kargil War under the prime ministership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee n the 1971 war under late Indira Gandhi’s tenure.

At such a critical juncture, when the entire country solidly stands behind the cause of teaching Pakistan a befitting lesson the stand of the PDP chief n former CM of Jammu & Kashmir coming to the rescue of the separatists n Pak’s proxies Hurriyat Conference is really highly unfortunate n anti nation.

She should unambiguously understand that the politics of Kashmir valley is less important than the national cause of teaching enemy Pakistan, its proxies n terrorists a most a most befitting lesson.
