US-based retail company Walmart is world’s largest company when it comes to revenue. It has kept this title since 2014 with a revenue of 514,405 million USD. It also enjoyed a profit of 6,670 million USD.
SINOPEC
China based Sinopec is a state-owned company in oil and gas industry. With a revenue of 414,649 million USD and a profit of 5,845 million USD, it stands on the second position.
ROYAL DUTCH SHELL
Another oil and gas company, this time based in Netherlands and UK. Royal Dutch Shell earned a revenue of 396,556 million USD to bag the third position. It also had a profit of 23,352 million USD.
CHINA NATIONAL PETROLEUM
A state-owned enterprise from China, this oil and gas company saw a revenue of 392,976 million USD and a profit of 2,270 million USD.
STATE GRID
Chinese state-owned company in Electricity industry. 387,056 million USD in revenue and 8,174 million USD profit has granted this one the fifth place of the world’s largest companies’ list.
SAUDI ARAMCO
Oil and Gas Company from Saudi Arabia and another state-owned one. Aramco earned a revenue of 355,905 million USD and a profit of 110,974 million USD. On profit alone, it tops the list of world’s largest companies but since we are focusing on revenue more, it places sixth overall.
BP
UK based oil and Gas Company that achieved a revenue of 303,738 million USD. It also saw a profit of 9,383 million USD.
EXXONMOBIL
ExxonMobil is an American company in oil and gas sector. Its revenue added up to 290,212 million USD with a profit of 20,840 million USD.
